By The Big Magazine Staff
The 76th Emmy Awards concluded on Sunday at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles with a surprising turn of events as the Max series "Hacks" managed to outshine FX's "The Bear," for best comedy. Despite "The Bear" receiving five Emmys, with three going to its actors, it was "Hacks" that stole the spotlight with just two awards prior to the show's end - one for Jean Smart and another for outstanding comedy writing.
In the drama categories, historical drama “Shōgun,” picked up four awards, including individual acting honors for two its two stars and outstanding drama.
”Baby Reindeer,” a hardened tale of trauma and healing, won four awards, including outstanding limited series.
