Hollywood’s most in demand floral designer and perfumer, Eric Buterbaugh has a lot of famous friends who came out to celebrate his birthday in tandem with the re-launch of his fragrance line, Eric Buterbaugh - Los Angeles, on Thursday night (Feb 20) at Just One Eye in West Hollywood, California.
The event took on thematic cues from Studio 54 with a giant disco ball and a dazzling guestlist at the center of it all. The invite only soiree immersed guests in a campy glittered wonderland of pink flowers with fine art throughout the space and several chiseled body go-go dancers to keep the party dancing.
Buterbaugh brought his flamingo box art to life with a large-scale pink flamingo floral installation that stood just a little over ten feet high. The flamingo was covered in EB’s signature “reflexed” Geraldine roses, light pink spray roses, pink O’Hara Roses and carnations. The event showcased over 5000 stems total.
The Buterbaugh perfume and candle collection first launched in 2015. Six years later, the re-launch included changing the name from EB Florals to Eric Buterbaugh - Los Angeles. Another notable change was the re-design of his packaging with a gorgeous floral motif Buterbaugh designed himself along with PUIG. A flamingo is used to label the floral perfumes while the monkey represents the collection’s oud scents. In total there are 17 brilliant perfumes under the EBLA fragrance family.
Eric works in collaboration with an elite group of master noses to create exquisite fragrances, divinely true to their floral origins. Together, they discuss the finer points of every scent, distilling each flower’s essence into wearable inspiration.
“The re-launch is just as much about the new packaging as introducing the new scents in the growing collection. They are different and they are original ...with my best-sellers being Saffron Oud, Fabulous Magnolia and Sultry Rose,” said Eric Buterbaugh, Founder and Chief Creative Officer.
