FireAid Raises More Than $100 Million to Help L.A. Wildfire Relief

The FireAid benefit concerts in Los Angeles, held on January 30, showcased performances by numerous artists such as Billie Eilish, Green Day, and Stevie Nicks, and are anticipated to have generated over $100 million for recovery efforts throughout the city, organizers revealed on Tuesday.

The one-night-only benefit concert, held across two stages at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, attracted over 50 million viewers on 28 streaming platforms. The biggest names in music will came together for an evening of music and solidarity dedicated to rebuilding communities devastated by the wildfires.


The massive lineup included, Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting and Tate McRae performed at the Intuit Dome.


Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dave Matthews and John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks and The Black Crowes performed at Kia Forum.


The $100 million estimate encompasses donations, ticket sales, sponsorships, merchandise, private gifts, and matching donations. DIRECTV donated $1 million to FireAid and also donated free tickets to families affected by the Altadena fire while they stay at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California Pasadena house.


The contributions made to FireAid in connection with the concerts will be distributed through L.A. non-profit the Annenberg Foundation. FireAid was the collaboration of Irving Azoff and Shelli Azoff and the Azoff family, Live Nation, Blended Strategy, and the LA. Clippers. Joel Gallen of Tenth Planet and Rick Krim produced the event.


The Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fires have scorched more than 50,000 acres, an area exceeding the size of San Francisco, and destroyed more than 16,000 structures.
