Giorgio Armani debuted ‘The Man in the Magnifying Glass,’ for the Fall/Winter 2020-2021, Milan fashion show which was heavily themed with the latest fashion trend called,"Gorpcore."

The new aesthetic to hit the runway was officially coined in May of 2019 by New York's The Cut Magazine. Gorpcore mixes utility wear with city fashion. The details appeal to the fashion sense of those who enjoy sport, without necessarily expressing themselves outdoors or the athletics field. The colour range includes mineral greys, onyx, snow white and lacquer red.

Models paraded on a jet black runway wrapped around a centerpiece of clear ice like sculptures while snow falling was projected above the models on surround screens. The show concluded with the phrase "I’m saying yes to recycling." The collection focused on sustainability and materials made of recycled materials. Each piece was branded with an R EA tag.
