Handwritten lyrics to “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” on the back of a recording sheet by George Harrison and Ringo Starr are up for auction from the -White Album- at EMI’s Abbey Road Studios in London in 1968.
Handwriting expert Frank Caizzo confirmed that the writing was by Beatle member Ringo Starr.
“It is complete with his misspellings, a Ringo trademark, and shows him working out one of the misspelled words on the side,” Caizzo wrote in a letter of authenticity posted to the auction website.
According to TMZ the memorabilia is being auctioned by a company called, Moments in Time and they’re selling it for $195,000.
