Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Announces 7th Annual LEJA Film Nominations - Full List

The Latino Entertainment Journalists Association (LEJA) announced the nominees for its 7th annual Latino Entertainment Film Awards.

Emilia Pérez leads the 2025 nominations with 17 nods, including Best Picture, Best Director (Jacques Audiard) and acting nominations for Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez and Adriana Paz. Dune: Part 2 follows with 10 nominations, including Best Picture.


The Substance and Wicked picked up nine nominations each, while the fifth most nominated film was The Brutalist with eight nods. All three films earned Best Picture nods.


The other Best Picture nominees for this year’s LEJA Entertainment Film Awards are Anora, Conclave, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys and Sing Sing.


Along with nominations for the 23 competitive categories listed below, LEJA also awarded three actors with a special recognition.

LEJA also announced special recognition for three standout figures. This year’s Breakout Award goes to Adria Arjona for her roles in Los Frikis, Hit Man and Blink Twice. This year’s Activism Award goes to John Leguizamo for highlighting the contributions of Latinos in history and entertainment. LEJA is also honoring veteran actor Edward James Olmos with this year’s Rita Moreno Lifetime Achievement Award.


The final winners of the 7th annual LEJA Entertainment Film Awards will be announced on LEJA’s social media channels on February 17, 2025. The complete list of nominees is below.
