Marvel Drops 1st Phase Four Final Trailer for 'Black Widow' with Scarlett Johansson & Florence Pugh

Marvel Studios dropped its highly anticipated final trailer for Black Widow, marking the first film of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Scarlett Johansson, and Florence Pugh.
Marvel Studios dropped its final trailer on Monday (March 9) for the film, Black Widow the day after International Women’s Day (March 8.)
Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena Belova, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. The film is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige.
The trailer focuses on the relationship between Natasha and Yelena as they uncover the truth behind the Red Room and life with her family. Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. The Red Room was briefly featured in 2016’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, as a top-secret Soviet training program that brainwashes girls and turns them into assassins.
The Los Angeles premiers for “Black Widow” is slated for April 13th while the movie hits U.S. theaters on May 1st, 2020.
