Academy Awards winning actor, Michael Douglas, shared last night on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show that his plans for Father, Kirk Douglas', birthday festivities (Dec. 9,) won’t be their usual super fancy or over the top party this year. Legendary actor, Kirk Douglas wants a low key celebration at home with his family for his 103rd birthday.
“Well, it’s like, so 100. Okay, so he was 100. Big birthday, big birthday. The trouble is, when you’re 100, you don’t really want a big birthday,” Douglas said “I threw a big party for him, it was great.” he continued. “So he’s begging me, he’s got tears down his eyes. ‘Let’s just have dinner, the family together. Bring the kids.’”
Michael Douglas also accidentally confirmed that Ant-Man 3 was in the works months before Marvel Studios officially announced it. Whoops! Big news for all the Marvel Universe fans out there.
“They told me, but I forget,” Douglas told Kimmel when asked about Marvel Studios’ reaction to him revealing the details. “They said, ‘No, you’re not supposed to tell anybody.’ But there’s gonna be an Ant-Man, a third one, January 2021.”
Kimmel then questioned how the actor on how Marvel could punish the 75-year-old actor for leaking details about the series. “They could do a lot,” Douglas joked. “A blowgun to the back of the neck.”
Marvel fans are expecting to see the return of Ant-Man series director, Peyton Reed. Stay tuned for more details on Ant-Man 3!
