The Whiskey Hotel is coming to Hollywood. Restaurateur Adolfo Suaya adds a twist on the traditional old-fashioned hotel business model with a neat whiskey theme concept.
The Whiskey Hotel by entrepreneur and restaurateur, Adolfo Suaya who started the infamous “Gaucho Grill”will be a seven-story boutique hotel with 134 rooms and a greenhouse-style rooftop restaurant and bar to host tastings and events.
Whiskey will flow throughout the hotel from being greeted with a sample of whiskey upon check-in, to specialty whiskey minibars in the rooms, to a whiskey fountain in the lobby. Yes, you read that right. The hotel will also staff a full-time whiskey sommelier for visiting whiskey aficionados.
The Whiskey Hotel is set to open it’s doors to the public sometime in 2022. Construction has already started at the center of Hollywood at 1717 N. Wilcox Avenue with the backing of $35 million in funding, expected to finish by 2021.
