Rapper Tory Lanez has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting, hip hop star Megan Thee Stallion in the feet in 2020.
The 31-year-old rapper was finally sentenced in an LA courtroom for shooting Megan in the feet while she was getting out of car during an argument at the home of Kylie Jenner's after a pool party on July 12, 2020. Megan's assistant Kelsey Harris was also involved in the incident.
Stallion alleges that Lanez offered her and Harris a million dollars to not report the shooting because he was already 'on probation.' Megan also claims that Lanez apologized to her following the incident and blamed being intoxicated made him do it.
On the last day of Lanez's 10-day trial on December 23 last year, the jury of seven women and five men unanimously convicted the rapper of three felonies; assault with a semi-automatic firearm, shooting a firearm in a grossly negligent manner and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
