On Wednesday morning, the nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced amid the Los Angeles wildfire crisis.

“Wicked” and “Shōgun” were the frontrunners among the nominees, each receiving five nominations. The event celebrates some of the year's top performances in film and television, chosen by SAG-AFTRA members.
The nominations were instead revealed via press release due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles County.
